Price, Fees and VAT
3.1 Product Prices
Prices on our website do not include value-added tax (VAT) and are stated in Norwegian kroner (NOK) at checkout and payment. As of today, we are not obligated to collect VAT on our products, cf. the Norwegian Value Added Tax Act § 2-1, first paragraph. Additionally, our products may be exempt from VAT due to rules regarding artwork, cf. the Norwegian Value Added Tax Act § 3-7 regarding exemptions for limited edition artwork.3.2 Fees for International Delivery
Our products are supplied by suppliers based in the EU, the UK, and the USA. For international delivery, both Norwegian and foreign customers may be subject to local taxes, customs duties, or VAT when the products are imported into their country. These fees are determined by the customs authorities of the respective country, and the customer is responsible for paying any such costs upon receipt of the goods. For Norwegian customers, the Norwegian Customs Act §§ 2-1 and 2-2 regulate the import of goods into Norway and the obligation to pay customs duties and VAT upon import.3.3 Changes in Tax Obligations
If we become obligated to collect VAT or other fees on our products according to Norwegian or foreign legislation in the future, this will be clearly communicated on our websites. Prices will then be adjusted to reflect any new tax obligations. Such changes will take effect from the time they are published on our websites.3.4 Art Fee
In Norway, a law has been enacted that imposes a fee of 5% on all purchases of visual art. This fee goes to the Fund for Visual Artists (BKH) and is intended to support and promote the creative environment.
The fee only applies to artworks priced above NOK 2,000, and it is automatically added to the sale price when you complete your purchase. The buyer is responsible for paying this fee. We ensure that all information regarding the fee is handled and that it is paid, making the process as straightforward as possible for you.
Please note that this fee is legally mandated and cannot be discounted at the time of payment. For more information about the art fee, please visit www.kunstavgiften.no. -
Payment
We offer the following payment methods for both Norwegian and international customers:- Stripe (Visa/Mastercard/American Express/Apple Pay)
- PayPal
- Vipps/MobilePay
The amount will be deducted from your account when the purchase is completed. If the purchase pertains to a service, the amount will be deducted at the time of booking or purchasing the service.
