In 2021, Streetianity began as a simple Instagram feature account, sharing captivating moments from street photographers worldwide. Founded by the married Norwegian couple Morten Andresen and Eva Brodtkorb, the mission from the start was to celebrate street photography and the talented individuals behind the lens.
How it Began
Eva, a seasoned photographer with many years of experience, has long been dedicated to her craft. In 2018, while working on a street photography exhibition, her husband Morten tagged along—and he was instantly hooked. With a background as a television producer and a lifelong fascination with photography, Morten quickly immersed himself in the world of street photography. Together, the pair has since developed an unshakable passion for the art form.
Now, after years of cultivating a dedicated community through social media, Morten and Eva are taking their shared passion to the next level with the launch of their first business: Streetianity.com. The platform offers limited-edition street photography prints from photographers worldwide, providing a space where art enthusiasts and collectors can discover unique, high-quality works.
The Vision Behind Streetianity.com
Starting a business together has always been a dream for Eva and Morten, inspired by their shared love for photography. Streetianity.com was born from this passion and the practical need to simplify their work. Managing two separate photography shops had become costly and time-consuming, so instead of running their own individual stores, Eva came up with the idea of combining them into one.
From there, she envisioned something bigger: a platform that could also support other photographers facing similar challenges. This way, everyone could benefit from a shared space, and Streetianity, a brand they had long wanted to grow, became the perfect solution.
This isn’t just a business for us—it’s personal
Eva
Drawing from their own experience with the challenges photographers face in promoting, selling, and shipping their work, they set out to create a simple, reliable platform that allows artists to focus on their craft while it handles the logistics. That's what Streetianity.com is all about—making the process of selling and buying prints effortless for everyone.
A Passion Project Turned Business
"This isn’t just a business for us—it’s personal," says Eva. "We’ve poured our hearts into this, and we’re going to give it everything we have. We want both the photographers and the customers to feel that same passion through the quality of the prints we deliver."
Streetianity isn’t just about selling prints; it’s about supporting photographers in their creative journey. The platform will also offer workshops, where photographers can connect, learn new techniques, and refine their skills. It’s a place where street photography is not only showcased but celebrated, allowing both emerging and established talents to flourish.
Excited for What’s Next
As they launch Streetianity, Morten and Eva remain focused on their core values: quality and community. Their roots in the Instagram world have given them a unique perspective, and they’re ready to make Streetianity.com the go-to destination for those who appreciate the beauty of everyday moments captured through street photography.
This is just the start, and with Eva and Morten’s shared passion, dedication, and attention to detail, Streetianity has a promising journey ahead.Whether you're a collector, photographer, or love powerful imagery, we offer something exceptional.
