Christina Förster
Christina Förster, a 40-year-old from Aachen, Germany, is a sports and biology teacher, married with two sons. Her love for photography began in childhood, inspired by trips with her father to photograph remote villages in southern France. During the 2020 lockdown, she deepened this interest, starting with a Fuji X-T30, and now rarely leaves home without a camera.
Her true passion is street photography, enjoying the thrill of capturing spontaneous moments and unique compositions. She prefers fixed focal lengths, particularly 35 mm and 56 mm lenses, and enjoys post-processing with Capture-One. While she typically works in color, she occasionally edits in black and white for stronger contrast.
Christina finds peace in solo photography outings but also values the company of fellow photographers. She looks forward to more street photography meetings and connecting with others in the community, eager to see what new scenes will come into focus.
